Azure (Microsoft) Outage impacting customers in the USA (Central region)

    • The outage started at approximately 21:56 UTC on July 18, 2024 and impacted multiple Azure services in the Central US region. Customers experienced issues with service management operations, connectivity, and availability of services across the platform.

    • Microsoft identified that a configuration change introduced in a recent deployment was the root cause of the outage. They had to roll back this change and restart services to the last known good configuration, which took several hours to complete

    Many of our 3PL and EDI connections are unable to connect. This isn't an issue with Cin7 but with the integration partners who are based in the US. Customers may be seeing a larger number of errors than usual

    There is currently an Azure outage happening in the US central region.

    We have raised the outage with Microsoft and we will update as and when we receive further information.

OMNI: System Performance Issue

    Earlier today, we experienced a global performance issue that affected the loading speed of our system. This issue impacted the overall performance across the product.

    Our engineering team identified the root cause of the problem and has implemented the necessary fixes. As of now, the system is back to normal, and all functionalities should be working as expected.

    New Release - 7th July 2024

    Watch out for updates in the following areas over the weekend:

    • QuickBooks Online: Editing customer credit products has been limited to prevent sync errors

    • QuickBooks Online: Consolidated transaction improvements

      • Class information now supported for order lines

      • Use payment clearing account only for foreign currency payments.

    • Display and edit customer credit on order and invoice section of simple and advanced sales

    • Product family selection (add multiple product family variations at once) available for stock transfer

    • Filter sales list by type (simple, advanced, service, credit note)

    • Account mapping must map unique accounts to each required account field

    • Upload and edit product deals in bulk via CSV 

    • MES: Add/edit/delete production order/run and operation additional attributes from application

    We are aware of an issue affecting some customers who are encountering errors when attempting to download orders from Shopify. The error message being reported is: "Cannot access child value on Newtonsoft.Json.Linq.JValue."

    Our engineering team is actively investigating the root cause of this issue. We are working closely with our partners at Shopify to diagnose and resolve the problem as swiftly as possible.

B2B Portal: Attachment Issues During Checkout

    Users are encountering an issue when attempting to add attachments during the checkout process. The error message displayed is, "The file XXX could not be loaded. Please use another file."

    This issue is currently under investigation by our technical team. We appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this matter.

    • Void unapproved RMA orders 

    • Cin7 Core WMS: Show stock transfer history in audit log for transfer to/from location

    • Stripe: Removed ‘Ask for billing information’ setting in Core as Stripe UI changes have made it unnecessary

    • Cin7 Core API:

      • Add new API endpoints to get customer credits and supplier deposits

      • Post customer credit and supplier deposit to sale and purchase invoices via API

    • Fix: Wrong value showing for multiple RMA resolution scenarios in RMA portal now corrected.
